Successful managers in any facet of business possess some variation of a consistent management approach. Managers’ function to pilot employees by
implementing and running the systems within an organization that affect people. They set and put in to practice performance evaluations, rewards, and penalties.
Creating these systems makes company development and change possible.
I would categorize myself as a Democratic - Consultative Leader. For the preceding four years I have served as a first line manager for group of security
professionals who perform physical security at The Boeing Company, in Decatur Alabama. A democratic style manager allows employees to be involved in
decision making, delegates, authority, and encourages feedback in deciding work methods and goals.
Most people are extremely resistant to change. Rather than make decisions and blindside employees with changes that may or may not benefit them, better.
