Imigration
“Look at where we come from and where we end up”
My Immigration story
Immigration is what this country is based on. Everyone has come to the U.S. looking for a better life. Every one comes for their own purpose and with them they bring and add a little of their culture and that make what is know as an American culture.
Me I am Mexican. I was born in Mexico and immigrated to the U.S. when I was about one and a half years old. Being Mexican comes with some baggage but not as much as some of the other cultures. There is the stereotype that all Mexicans are dirty, poor, and the only thing they are good for is to pick strawberries (or any other crop grown around the area.) Mexicans are the bad people the ones that make the gangs and cause the crimes. But all this is not true some of he thing happen in that manner is because if everyone was to be treated equal their opportunities suffer and people cant prosper and grow.
I am not the typical Mexican. I am not really all into my culture some people even say that I am “ anti-Mexican,” but I’m not I just am so use to the customs of here and I don’t feel that just because I’m Mexican I have be to be a stereotype of them. I am an individual and I have different views
