When it comes to making a video game, there is a lot more to it than just the case and the compact disc the game data is on. Depending on the many aspects of a video game, it can and most likely will take a lot of time and effort to put together a successful video game. For example, some of the basic functions of a professional football game would have to have to teams (with the correct players, colors and team logos), the stadium which the team plays in, some basic plays to choose from and some game playing options such as playing a single game or playing a season. These basic aspects of a pro football game were basically all the first few pro football video games had. Years a ago, these game did take some time and effort to make, but no way near the amount of time and effort that goes into making a pro football game today. The game I am mainly talking about is John Madden NFL Football 2004. Video game analysts say Madden 2004 is the best football ever made; it is the first video game to ever be inducted into the Football Hall of Fame.
