Indoor tanning is not only efficient, but it provides a measure of control over the
tanning process that outdoor tanning does not comply with. The indoor tanning process
can aid in preventing those damaging sunburns that can cause health risks later in life.
The steady depletion of the ozone layer is a legitimate concern for outdoor
tanners. Vacationers love to tan so they can finally expose those parts of their bodies that
have been hibernating during the winter months and so they can achieve limited protection
against burning in the warmer, vacationing climates. Some tanners tan just to feel good
about the way they look and to prevent the suffering of such ailments as seasonal
disorders, high blood pressure, arthritis, and many more. Furthermore, tanning beds
enclose you in warmth and provide an escape from the everyday hustle and bustle of
living. Importantly, tanning actually causes your body to produce vitamin D that is
necessary for good health, bone formation and repair, and the absorption of calcium and
phosphorus in the body.
