Bay Of Pigs
The failed invasion of Cuba at the Bay of Pigs represents the mismanagement, overconfidence and lack of security of our youngest president. John F. Kennedy. The failure of this operation caused a rise in tension between the two great superpowers. The blame for Cuba’s fall out falls directly into the lap of the president and the CIA.
The motive to eliminate Cuba is because of their relationship with Soviet Union, and U.S. hatred toward Soviet only strengthen Kennedy’s beliefs that Cuba possess concrete thereat for the U.S.
