Courtier View of Love

    Love:Physical, Spiritual, or both? Throughout the time of man, love has been a word that has never been truly defined. Somepeople view love as a physical aspect, while others seem to have the opinion that it is a more spiritual development. These two views are very evident in the two books of Utopia, by Sir Thomas More, and Castiglione’s TheCourtier, as translated by Sir Thomas Hoby. Sir Thomas More defends the thought that physical attraction is what causes people to fall in love.
