VIDEO GAMES PAST AND FUTURE
Over the last 20 years video games have been a huge part of are everyday life for both adults and for children, from the first ATARI to the next generation PS2 video games have made for a lot of enjoyment. In my essay I will discuss the evolution of the video game and the evolution of the console. From 1984 to 2002 games have changed the way we live for example in 1984 when the NES was put on market it sold about 250,000 consoles in its first year a great accomplishment it its day completely crushing its early competitor the ATARI by over 100,000 copies, today the PS2 on its first day sold over 250,000 copies a amazing feat which had the system in extreme demand for over a year and a half with the power of the PS2 and now the construction of the PS3 will the world change to fit the game or will the game become a way of life rather then a hobby.
