Personally I find his paintings aesthetically pleasing and joyful and serene, and whether Kandinsky put too much emphasis into his work by mixing philosophy, psychology or scientific theory is irrelevant, if anything it has opened up more opportunities to experiment with. With his added interest in spirituality it gave his work a rather interesting expression.
