THE RUN The day began like any other Monday. My alarm sounded with the piercing buzz sharply at 5:00 a.m. I rolled out of my tiny bed onto the cold hard wood floor and proceeded to venture into the newly colored, pastel green bathroom. The lights of the bathroom blinded me for a short while until my eyes adjusted. I proceed to do all the normal things a person does early in the morning; brush my teeth, wash my face, put in my contacts, etc… As I headed back into my tiny hole in the wall, which I call a bedroom, I thought of all the things I needed to do throughout the day.
