Antonin Dvorak
Antonin Dvorak was born on September eighth eighteen hundred forty-one in a small bohemian village named Nelahozeves nad Vitavou. Dvorak lived most of his life in Prague but in eighteen hundred ninety-two he moved to New York. He composed mostly Czech folk music however he also wrote symphonies, operas, songs, various chamber music and spiritual music such as oratories and cantatas.
During Dvorak live time there were many famous painters such as Henri- Edmond Cross, Maximilien Luce, George Seurat, Paul Signac, Fredrick Edwin Church and Wilhelm Leibl. Also during his lifetime the Annexation of Texas happened in 1845 along with the Mexican War in 1846-1848. He also lived during the time of the gold rush and the Civil War in America. Across the seas you had the Italian War of Independence in 1848-1849 and the Seven Weeks’ War in 1866. The Annexation of Bosnia – Herzegovina, Provincial Revolt, The Crimean War, Second Polish Revolution, and the Spanish – American War additionally all happened in the duration of his lifetime.
