Philosophy
For me, teaching has always seemed like the perfect profession. I have the utmost admiration for children especially for early adolescents and the many capabilities and insights they possess about the world around us. I think nurturing their wide range of individually inquisitive minds is such an important job. Obviously just enjoying middle level students and their companionship is not the only reason one should pursue education. Personally I never could see myself in a career that involved doing the same monotonous thing every day. Being in a classroom swarming with veracious appetites for learning and exploring actively rather then passively will not be boring or mundane. I also find that I am someone who needs to be challenged and working with the young mind could be the most challenging phenomenon. Truly I see education as a team effort with the students and adults. I think I will learn as much from the students as they will learn from
