Abstract
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) has more than doubled since 1990 leading to a boom in the disorder or a high rate of misdiagnosed patients. Even though Ritalin has shown success in treating the disorder, other approaches like parent training and behavior modification should be tried to reduce the use of Ritalin or to cut the use of the drug completely. What will be done in this study is an observation of the participants’ behavior according to their stimulus to find which shows the most improvement in controlling the symptoms of ADHD.
