One well-known myth is the one about Hercules; it goes a little like this. One day Hercules became fill with anger and assassinated his wife and children. He had to complete 12 labours to prove that he was a hero not a villain and to free him from the guilt. He completed all 12 labours and then people thought as him to be a hero for saving people and a whole bunch of impossible tasks. Jason was another god that was first thought of being a villain.
