What is a Better Place for Teenagers
There is a proverb that "Teenagers are like a sharp knife." It means that they are very sensative emotionally, and are not matured completely yet. The teen years are a period of growth for an individual. As a teenager, I had limitations for my behaviors and the rule for girls was strick.
Pipher says, " Sex was probably my most confusing problem."(489) and "We were told that sex would ruin our lives and reputations." (490) As a teenager, Pipher was uneducated about sex, so under this condition, whenever she saw a romance magazine and heard dirth jokes or songs which were expressed sexual implication, this made her more confusing to think about sex. Likewise, I also had not sufficient knowledge about sex. Most junior hing schools were not a co-educational school, so girls did not have an opportunity to meet boy
