No One Is Interested In Lyrics Today, Are They?
Music! An integral part of our lives. Throughout history the human populous has always been attracted to music. Whether it is part of a ritual, an emotional release, religious reasons, or just listening for pleasure, music has been at the centre of our society. People have always used music to express themselves, and let others into their thoughts. However, they often wonder whether what they are saying has an effect on the listening audience.
Recently the meaning of the words artists put into their songs looses its significance. Now most of the songwriters substitute the lyrics that mean something or express mood for thoughtless nonsense words. Yes, and they have right to do it. Because these “new” words just sound better with the latest soap-pop hit of the music star. And it not only makes the song sound right but also makes the song so magnetic with its simplicity, so that there’s no way you don’t go to the music store and buy the new recording...
For that reason most of the people just don’t care about the lyrics. And how they can be interested in simple pointless words that mean nothing. And how can they call these words lyric. The lyric comes deep out of author’s soul. It expresses his feelings, his thoughts,
