Netscape – Vision of tomorrow today Web Browser software, also called a Web Browser or simply a browser, is a Graphic Interface program that interprets and displays Web pages and enables the user to link to other Web pages. Netscape was designed to find interesting Internet sites without the need for specialized programming knowledge, and presenting it in a way that is more appealing than previous Internet browsers do.
