Internet... A Tool Of Social Integration Or Decay?
Introduction
The Internet was developed due to early communication needs, requiring mass amount of information to be carried across different parts of the world. Many forms of important documentations such as mail, parcels, etc. require the average person to spend considerable amounts of money to send communication materials to various places. Thus, the idea of a simpler and more productive means to not only reach the distributors, but the consumers as well resulting in the social inter-reaction for people to meet in the majority on a safer level and to keep in contact with family and friends. The creation of the Internet and its resources has now developed as the most significant form of communication in today's society. Originally used nearly over 15 years ago for province of science, engineering, and business; the Internet has been promoted as a gateway to information and communication across the globe. Through the Internet we meet new people, make new friends, thus creating a global village, therefore expanding past limitations as to how we socialise.
