    To Kill a Mockingbird Essay In the book To Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee, there are many themes present. One theme is that sometimes people are judged before they are known. Another theme is that sometimes people are not understood until you see what they see. The third and final theme is that sometimes people are wrongly accused of things that they would never even think of doing. These are all themes that will be described in the following paragraphs of this essay. The first theme is that sometime people are judged before they are known. One example of this is Dolphus Raymond. He is not in the movie, but he is definitely present in the book. People think that he is a bad person because he spends all his time with black people.
