Gambling Being an athlete you are asked to play your hardest on every play of every game. You are also asked to be loyal to your whole team. As an amateur athlete on the NCAA level for example you naturally a hard worker because you are playing for the love of the game and not getting paid. When people gamble on a sport I believe it is fine, but when gambling effects the sport in a negative way such as point shaving then gambling becomes wrong.
