Ancient Egyptian and Ancient Roman Fashion
Ancient Roman and Egyptian fashion is very similar. The Ancient Egyptians and the Ancient Romans were so close in this department that people would not be able to tell the difference half the time. However the Ancient Egyptians were a bit more extravagant in the royalty and leaders section. The Ancient Romans and Ancient Egyptians had a lot in common in the accessories department. The Ancient Civilisations had this in common because they probably got their ideas either off each other or from other Ancient Civilisations.
The Ancient Egyptians wore cosmetics such as eye shadow; the most popular of eye shadows was the green powdered malachite and the black crushed iron ore. The people from Ancient civilisations did not realise at this time that crushed or improvised elements were not safe to use on the skin area and therefore could cause severe and life long damage. Women wore red lip powder, dyed their hair, and painted their fingernails. They outlined their eyes and coloured their eyebrows with grey, black, or green paint. Men also outlined their eyes and often wore as much makeup as women. Both sexes used perfume and wore necklaces, rings, and bracelets. Combs, mirrors, and razors were common grooming aids. They a
