Invention of Telephone

    The invention of the telephone has made our lives much easier. Before the telephone was invented people use to communicate by fire or a light from a torch. Native Americans actually developed a more complex system of signaling with fire by controlling the release of the smoke, but such smoke signals also had their limitations. Another way to send a message between places that weren’t too far apart was to use sounds better than the human voice. African tribes used drums to communicate. The way they used to get messages across from place to place was by foot, but once they learned how to use horses the messengers could get the message much faster. In the nineteenth-century the message delivery system was called Pony Express. It took about ten days for the message to get to the destination. Within no time the telegraph was introduced in the 1800’s. The first message was send on May 24, to the Supreme Court. The inventor of the telephone was Alexander Graham Bell. He was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, on March 3, 1847. His father and grandfather were both elocutionists. His mother Eliza was a portrait painter and a talented pianist. Ale
