hinduism
We as the human race have been blessed with the inarguably highest intelligence on this earth. However with this intelligence also comes diversity. Humans have proved to be infinitely diverse. Not only in our skin coulours and physical attributes but also mentally, every person thinks and sees things a little differently. Depending on our thoughts, beliefs, and actions we as humans will shape ourselves and the world we live in accordingly. For countless years millions of people have turned to Krishna’s counsel in the Bhagavad-Gita for guidance. Krishna’s great wisdom has been the basis of many people’s thoughts and beliefs, and in times of action to act in a manner that Krishna would see as hounorable.
Arjuna, a great warrior becomes lost and mentally disoriented just before a great battle is to take place. He believes he sees omens of chaos if the battle takes place and renounces what he thinks to be useless and horrible action. He sees no purpose or justification in slaying his friends, tutors, and mentors. However Krishna sees and knows things to be very different. Krishna teaches Arjuna that because he is a warrior, riding into battle is his sacred duty; an action to be embraced and even enjoyed
