Nietsche

    Nietzsche would support the revolutionaries in Demons. In the chapter titled On the Adder’s Bite Nietzsche explains that to seek revenge is better than letting someone hurt you and turning away. The revolutionaries feel that they are being taken advantage of; they feel as though their civil rights are being taken from them by the government. Nietzsche would tell the revolutionaries that they have no choice but to defend themselves. He would also tell the revolutionaries that their enemy (the government) is actually making them stronger by hurting them. The government by being so cruel to the middle class working man, has encouraged them to fight for something better, Zarathustra says an enemy who wrongs you has really done you a favor. Nietzsche explains this
