Bronx to Nashville

“Bronx to Nashville” Music is something that everyone enjoys whether it is country, rap, rock, heavy metal, or polka. Someone who listens to country may consider rap nothing but a bunch of jumbled up, scurrilous language meaning absolutely nothing. Others might hate country because of the messages they sing. During the early 70s, in New York's inner-city neighborhoods, of the Bronx and Brooklyn, mc’s began rapping spoken rhymes about street life to the beat of dj-manipulated drum machines and turntables.
