orlando bloom

    On January 13th, 1977 in Canterbury Kent, England a sweet-faced baby named Orlando Bloom was born into this world. With his curly dark brown hair and beautiful dark eyes he made his way into the movie business. Orlando Bloom’s first job was as a clay trapper "I set the clay discs the gentlemen would try to shoot. It was fun to be out in the fresh air." At age 15 Orlando moved to London to pursue his acting career at National Youth Theatre. He then got a part on a TV series Casualty as Bit Part “That was my first-ever job, playing a self-mutilator - a guy who cuts himself for attention. It gave me a bit of experience. I remember shooting it in Bristol." He then went to British American Drama Academy, where he had lead role in a Walk In Vienna Woods, an agent noticed him and got him a small role in a movie called Wilde. Although he only had one line he got plenty of movie offers but sadly turned them down. Instead of making movies he chose to further his education at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama "I always planned to go to drama school.
