Freud today in America and the Tribriand Islands
Sigmund Freud was the pioneer in psychology by introducing the psychoanalytical theory. However, when Freud introduced this new theory he had only tested it out on a limited group of people who were all of European origin and had some from of psychosis. (People didn’t just put themselves in therapy like they do now days.) With that, does that allow for the transfer for Freud’s theories and thoughts on sexual and gender issues to be trans-cultural?
