    In Johnson’s discussion of intelligent agents he tries to show both the advantages and disadvantages to using intelligent agents. This debate leads to an understanding of how at first one may see benefits to intelligent agents. They can record a person’s likes and dislikes. The agent can then make an educated guess on what else the person may like by comparing this person’s likes and dislikes to a database of another people’s likes and dislikes and find similarities.
