    HOW TO PLAY CRICKET Meet the People 1. The most important people of the cricket match are the players. At least 11 players per team is needed to fill the field. If there is 12 players then one player sits out the game and is called the “12th man”. 2. The umpire comes second. He is like the referee in football, and holds many jobs.
