The Outsider Essay

    Imagine a young boy in his teenage years fighting out problems and difficulties through his life, problems and difficulties like violence, family conflict and friendship. This is exactly what happened to fourteen years old Ponyboy Curtis in the book “The Outsider. In fact, Ponyboy is the best character in the book. First of all, Ponyboy is a Greaser. Also, Ponyboy is very lucky to have Sodapop Curtis as a brother. Similarly, Ponyboy is very smart. Finally, Ponyboy is very brave. Therefore, Ponyboy is the best character in the book “The Outsiders”. First of all, Pony boy is the best character in the book because he is a Greaser, a member of a gang formed by teenage boys. All the Greasers are friends, they share the same feeling and think the same way about different things. Also, they are willing to help their friends whenever needed.
