Spanking
A lot of people these days believe that spanking is child abuse where others care to differ. People believe that any form of physical punishment is unnecessary, because it creates violence in children’s minds, therefore spanking should be eliminated. Is that completely true? If you really think about it, spanking is the least form of violence. There is way more violent encouragement on television, in books, media etc. and if you’re human, you should know that violence is a part of human nature. I believe that spanking is necessary punishment because infants are too immature and illogical (due to their undeveloped minds) to accept verbal reasoning as actual knowledge.
Children are new to the world. They know barely anything at all about life or society. Everything to them is an experimental stage, a huge play ground if you will; exploring choices and possibilities to whatever suits their adventure-craving minds. They don’t think logically. They don’t know what’s good and bad, what’s right and wrong. For example: A child and his father go shopping at a mall.
