Every Individual Has A Right To Justice
Justice, it occurs maybe at least once a day in your life, it may be served in your favor, only in a small favor though may it be served to you as in something small like someone accusing you of a matter when you have done nothing wrong and the person accusing you being the culprit and receiving the punishment.
‘The Green Mile’, a movie set around the mid 1900’s about a black man (John Coffee) sent to jail with the death penalty of dieing in the electric chair accused of raping and murdering two young girls.
Now in this movie you will see that John is not really given a fair chance to speak for the actions that were seen. Of course the situation John was in when he was found holding the two girls by the father, son and towns people would have looked bad, although he was still not given a fair chance to speak of what had happened. This being because John Coffee was a black man in a time where black people didn’t get much respect at all from white folks, and didn’t get much of a right to justice.
Throughout the movie John is portrayed as a ‘gentle giant’ kind of guy. He becomes friends with one of the guards, who start to believe John is innocent. Tow
