John Hammond – Good Man or Not
Jurassic Park was an intriguing science fiction novel, in which Michael Crichton made the story come alive. This book was about one man, whose greed for power and money created a world of terrifying creatures, which in the end destroyed itself. In this book review, I will share my thoughts of Jurassic Park through a plot summary, followed by a brief discussion of the books’ theme.
Crichtons’ novel begins with a series of small, but influential events, which captivate the readers and introduces them to an entirely new genre. These proceedings are all related in some way or another, being that they all have something to do with peculiar looking, but apparently dangerous “lizards”. After these events come to pass, the real story begins.
There are many characters in this book, but a selected few stand out from the vast number of individuals: John Hammond, Ian Malcolm, Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler, and Donald Gennaro. The novels’ first Iteration begins when Dr.
