The “perfect” models that the media present to us are usually airbrushed and changed to look better. Things are not always as they may seem or debunking discipline in the media.
Feminist groups obviously do not control the media. Media often portrays women as objects. Yet the social fact that to be thin and beautiful means success and happiness is shared by large number of people with power.
