In the essay Victory of the Loud Little Handful, by Mark Twain, the just and honorable process of war is argued. He describes how before war, people say it is unjust and are antiwar, but after the war has begun, the people will shift towards pro war and will believe that it is just. This transformation is explained in this essay, as Mark Twain portrays that the war process is self-deception, deluding the people to believe that war is just and honorable.
