The Time Machine

    Comparison of The Terminator and ‘The Time Machine. Both the time machine and terminator are closely subjected to the same issues and signatures used in science fiction. The sub-genres for both texts focus heavily on the idea of time travel. Science fiction stories often use this method to tell a story though a much more interesting journey. The idea of travelling into the past to change the future has been used in various ways with back to the future films exploring the possibilities of such technology. While in the time machine the characters main motivation is to discover the reason what if, and to try and save his fiancee the terminator has a much darker side to it focusing heavily on trying to change the future in present day. As this the article explains about aspect of time travel. An interesting thing I noticed was that we have texts that were made more than 10 years between them, Terminator 1991 and the time machine 2002. Yet the codes and conventions made apparent to us in both texts show some basic methods of practice in the conventions and codes to the two pieces.
