John F. Kennedy, President is a book that sheds an interesting view of John Fitzgerald Kennedy’s life as the 35th president of The United States of America. It reminds people how great of a man he was and what he did for our country. JFK was born on May 29, 1917 in Brookline, Massachusetts. Kennedy was the youngest man elected President and he was the youngest to die. He was the first Roman Catholic to be elected into presidential office. John Kennedy went to Harvard, fought in the war, ran for Congress and then for Senate. He then became our faithful President. John F. Kennedy did not choose people because of their wealth and power to be in his cabinet, he chose men worthy of the jobs. He was a man of great dedication to his job as president. He liked all of his men to speak freely in front of him and state their true ideas and feelings. Though Kennedy was a reasonable man there were always problems of war. He did not desire to go to war over things that may be solved with something other than violence. He spoke to many during times of crisis and in more than one occasion he was able to end small wars.
