Legally Blonde
The movie, Legally Blonde, revolves around the character Elle Woods, a fashion merchandising major at UCLA who comes to terms with herself and her life after breaking up with her would-have-been fiancé, Warner Huntington III. Although she is at the losing end of the situation, she confidently decides to take matters into her own hands by following Warner to Harvard Law School just to win him back. When she gets there, she finds that her plan isn’t as perfect as she thought. But all is not lost. It is in law school that Elle faces all the odds and realizes many things that will help her come of age, and at the end of the movie, Elle has learned to shape and mold herself into a more mature young adult.
Elle is experiencing young, or early adulthood. This can be seen clearly as her initial problem is presented to us. She is already at a stage that defines why early adulthood is considered to be a problem age. At this point, she is thinking about selecting a mate or future spouse. In this case, she hoped it would be Warner. However, Warner was also in the process of choosing someone to settle down with, and Elle did not seem to meet his standards.
