Robert Frost
"Robert Frost is one of the most talented poets of our time." (Winter 201). Robert
Lee Frost or Robert Frost has not hidden behind pen names. He has always used his real
name. "Robert Frost appears to be an Emersonian. Emerson was a romatic panthesist:
He identified with God and the universewhile on the other hand Frost didn't have his
religious convention." (Winters 201). Robert Frost has written many great poems over his
life time. He has written such great poems as "Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening" or
"Birches" or "Mending Wall" "Which James M. Cox calls one of Frost's self defining
poems." (Wallace 227). Robert Frost has written a great many poems in his time but they
usually have to deal with nature, they all have pretty much the same meter with a few different
lines.
Robert Frost's poems usually all have a similar theme and have to do with nature.
"Frost is, I believe, the greatest, most truly major poet in this country, bringing earth
and sky closer then any other poet does." (Nicholl 194). In "Mending Wall" Frost has
neighbors getting togather to repatch a wall. "But at spring mending-time we find them there/I
let my neighbour know beyond the hil
