Why do people have body piercing? Maybe religion, or for fashion I suppose, or maybe just cause they want to be different. There are many reasons why people pierce their bodies. My reasons were because I wanted to; and I liked the way the piercing looks. I received my first piercing during my last year of high school, which was my belly button. I was kind of hesitant at first because I wondered if it was going to hurt or not and if it would take a long time to heal.
