    In the book of James there are many ideas that James tries to get Christians to do on a daily basis. I think the main reason he wrote this book is to get Christians to act upon their faith. I have chosen some things that have stood out to me and that I want to try to do on a daily basis. James 1:23-24, “For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror for he observes himself , goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.” This verse is talking about how if you are a Christian and you hear but you do not act upon it, then you really are not a Christian.
