We are afraid of spoiling our children. Many times, this fear is rooted in the wrong belief that showing our love for them will make them conceited. This notion is extrapolated to the invalid conclusion that expressions of love and affection spoil our children. On the contrary, the following view seems to be correct: children willingly accept limits, exhibit caring and assume responsibility when parents show that they love and respect them
