The Reality of Reality Television Big brother, The Hot house, Newlyweds, The Simple like, Survivor, Australian Idol and The Resort, these are just some of the countless reality television shows that bombard our lives. In all honesty these shows are awful. They lack talent and originality. At first they were captivating and somewhat addictive with the beginning of Big Brother 1. Four years later we are still staring at the same Big Brother house, merely watching everyday life which has been crammed in with various cheap, unrealistic dramas. None of the shows hold any positive social value or contribute to the improvement of our society in any way.
