The evil and ambitious themes of Macbeth

    In all literary work, the stories must show a theme to emphasize the meaning of it. The literary writer who’s known to show a plethora of themes throughout his plays is William Shakespeare. He helps illustrate knowledge of this in his play Macbeth. In the play Macbeth, written by William Shakespeare, he uses the themes evil and ambition to emphasize their destructive powers. A main theme William Shakespeare emphasizes in the play Macbeth is that of evil. Lennox gives an example of this when he claims, [“Those of his chamber, as it seemed had done’t: their hands and faces were all badged with blood; so were their daggers…” (Macbeth II, 3, 359)] Lennox tries to explain how he believes the king was killed by his own men.
