I will try and depict the meaning between two brands of tissue
cartons. Determining how they reflect our material culture here in
North America. You would think that as a consumer, we would only
buy tissues for the sole purpose of their benefit, but this is not true,
we live in a world where we make material culture a part of our lives.
We are consumers; we surround ourselves with objects that we can
cherish and grow with. In some cases we allow them to take
over, providing us with a new culture we can associate towards. We
attach ourselves threw personal experiences that become a love or
obsession.

Most tissue cartons are viewed as an object that accommodates to an
individual when they are in need of its contained product. The two
cartons that are under examination are "Scotties" and "LIFE BRAND".
Both of these providers have taken a direct approach in selling us a
product based on our material culture needs.
