Mahatma Gandhi said "An eye for an eye only makes the whole world blind." Concept of revenge has been around since the beginning of life. People in Palestine and Israel are fighting everyday, trying to get revenge on one another for what has happened to them. They seem to be trapped in a vicious cycle which at this point seems to have no end. Countries like United States use these conflicts to push their agenda and to benefit off of it, while terrorist such as Osama bin Laden use these events to manipulate people into killing thousands of innocents for revenge. Palestinians and Israelis have been fighting for five decades over land that was granted to both Arabs and Jews by the United Nations. Both factions have always refused to accept the existence of the other. Jew claim that Israel, formerly known as Palestine, belongs to Jews because it was promised to their forefathers by god. On the other hand Arabs believe that Palestine belongs to them because they have lived there for centuries.
