Ramleela in essence is a play depicting a little over fourteen years in the life of Sri Ram. The Leela (play) shows us the adversities that Sri Ram encountered in that chapter of his life. The Ramleela is taken from the Rama-charitramanas or Ramayan. Valmiki wrote the Ramayan in Sanskrit and then by Tulsidas in Hindi.
