In this essay I will discuss Alzheimer’s disease (A.D) and its causes. Alzheimer’s is the most common dementia or a neurological disorder in which parts of the brain stop working (Seppa 2003). Four million people in US currently suffer from A.D, and it is estimated that 22 million people around the world will be suffering from this type of dementia by 2025 (George-Hyslop 2000).
