Wuthering Heights

    The story Wuthering Heights is completely about revenge. The novel starts out in revenge and through out the novel is dominated by this one aspect of human nature. Revenge is by far the most dominant theme in this novel. It is what causes every bit of the plot change, actually the plot my just be revenge. The first aspect of revenge happens in the very beginning of this novel when Mr. Earnshaw finds young Heathcliff and takes him home to raise as his own son. Right away Mr. Earnshaw’s daughter Cathy takes to Heathcliff and they become good friends. However Mr. Earnshaw’s son, Hindley, hates Heathcliff, because Heathcliff is treated as his favorite.
