In the novel Animal Farm by George Orwell, the pigs make the farm a totalitarian society. In this novel, there are three things that make Animal Farm a totalitarian society; they are the use of social classes, the deprivation of rights regarding the written laws, and the use of executions.
The lesser animals have a more difficult and miserable life than the pigs because of the lower social class they are in. The pigs break the commandments. Nothing happens when the pigs break the commandments, but when the other animals do, the get executed by Napoleon. This also violates the commandment that “all animals are equal”. The pigs never have to work on the win
