1. AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY My name is Idania Sanchez, also known as Dana. I was born in Jersey City, NJ on March 13. I lived in Puerto Rico until I was 18. Then moved to Philadelphia, PA moving there was definitely a learning experience. When I was 19 years old I got married and I moved to Orlando, FL. Five (5) years later I got divorce. At the age of 27 my best friend died, my mother. Before she died she wished I finish college. In my mothers memory I registered at National Louis-University and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Applied Behavior Sciences in 2002. During my college years, I remarried and had 2 children. In 1998 I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and in 1999 I was diagnosed with breast. After a long journey I survived cancer and I have been in remission since 2001. Currently I am attending Troy State University pursuing a Masters in Psychology and Counseling. 2.
